As an L1 Network Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing network incidents, changes, and problems. Your role will involve providing technical support for business IT queries and information, as well as day-to-day monitoring of the network. Additionally, you will be required to prepare and review network reports related to changes, capacity, and incidents. Participating in network projects and conducting proof of concepts for new technologies will be part of your responsibilities. You will need to submit reports as per business and customer requirements and demonstrate cross-functional working capability. Furthermore, auditing network configurations in alignment with SOPs will be essential. In terms of technical proficiency, you should have a basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs. Hands-on experience with Switching and SD-WAN management is crucial, along with familiarity with network hardware and protocols. Knowledge of basic network troubleshooting tools is also required. Qualifications for this role include a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or Telecommunications. Additionally, certifications such as CCNA, NNCIA, and VCP are preferred. A strong grasp of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, as well as experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools, will be beneficial.,
