You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, modifying, and implementing technology solutions to address short- and long-term needs through both new and existing applications, systems architecture, and network systems. In this position at Broadridge, you will review system requirements and business processes, code, test, debug, document, and implement software solutions, ensuring successful system improvements. Your work will involve application software development services within defined projects, developing program logic for new applications, and analyzing or modifying logic in existing applications. You will collaborate within a highly efficient ("Agile") development environment, testing new software code and ensuring the implementation of system enhancements. With over 7 years of software development experience, you will be proficient in technologies such as C#, .Net 6.0/.Net Core/.Net Frameworks, with experience in Microservices and database development using MS SQL Server. Your knowledge will encompass professional software engineering practices for the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, unit testing, and operations. Experience in SDLC frameworks like Scrum or other Agile frameworks, and tools like Jira will be beneficial. Your design skills will include Object-Oriented Design, along with experience in Application Program Interfaces (APIs), Messaging Software, Interoperability Techniques and Standards, and Cloud Technologies (especially AWS). Any additional experience in developing software for the financial services industry will be advantageous. You should have a proven track record in developing, releasing, and supporting high-quality products, as well as professional experience in developing performant, scalable, complex systems. A BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, is required. Your ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines, focus on client satisfaction, and possess consensus building and negotiating skills will be essential. Additionally, you should have good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, be highly organized with attention to detail, and be dedicated to client satisfaction.
