As a Technical ASIC Project Leader at SanDisk India, you will be responsible for developing cutting-edge ASICs that drive the next generation of SD cards for imaging, gaming, mobile, and data storage. This high-impact leadership role will require your technical expertise and strategic vision to lead projects from concept to mass production. You will lead the full-cycle development of high-performance ASIC controllers, overseeing architecture definition to production ramp-up. Collaborating with product, firmware, and system teams, you will translate product vision into technical execution by defining ASIC requirements aligned with SanDisk's storage solutions. Driving cross-functional collaboration, you will partner with various engineering teams to deliver industry-leading SoC solutions. Your role will also involve ensuring technical excellence through in-depth technical reviews, risk identification, and mitigation strategies to ensure project success. As a mentor and leader, you will provide technical guidance to engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. You will communicate project updates clearly and transparently to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and enthusiasm across all levels. Qualified candidates will possess a Master's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, along with proven experience in leading complex ASIC or SoC development projects. A strong technical background in digital design, verification, and silicon validation, with an understanding of SD, UHS, and SD-Express standards, is essential. Additionally, excellent cross-functional leadership, communication skills, and a passion for innovation and delivering high-quality solutions are required. Preferred qualifications include proficiency with EDA tools and methodologies for ASIC development, familiarity with industry standards and best practices in semiconductor design, as well as expertise in low-power design techniques and high-speed interfaces.
