Role Overview: You are being sought by UST for the position of Lead I - Software Testing. As an SDET, you will be responsible for utilizing your expertise in analyzing issues, proposing solutions, problem-solving, and guiding team members. Your role will also involve working with GIT, Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins, CICD tools such as looper and concord, and mentoring the team to ensure the successful development and automation of APIs, eCommerce websites, and test automation. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and automate highly distributed, complex APIs, automation, eCommerce websites, and test automation. - Test web-based/Back-end applications and explore tools and technologies to identify the best fit for the project requirements. - Build automation frameworks and assist other SDETs in writing tests using the framework. - Design and develop automated tests to validate functionality, performance, and scalability of cloud services. - Develop Backend automation suites for complex APIs using Java, Junit & TestNg. - Proficiency in SQL/DB for developing automated tests and hands-on experience with Performance testing tools like Apache JMeter, LoadRunner, Selenium, and Cucumber BDD framework. - Communicate effectively, demonstrate dedication, motivation, and the ability to work with complex cross-functional engineering teams. Qualifications Required: - Hands-on experience in API Testing, Automation, SDET, and Java. - Strong background in quality engineering and testing web-based/Back-end applications. - Ability to develop proof of concept by exploring tools and technologies. - Excellent communication skills, dedication, motivation, and the capability to navigate complex engineering teams. - Proficiency in building complex automation frameworks with new technologies available.
