As an SDET 2 (Software Development Engineer in Test 2) at UST, you will combine software development and quality assurance, focusing on automation. Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks, scripts, and tools. Additionally, you will collaborate with developers to enhance code quality, reduce manual testing efforts, and ensure software meets requirements. Here are your key responsibilities: - Test Automation: Design, build, and maintain automated test suites, frameworks, and tools for verifying software quality. - Code Quality: Analyze and improve code quality to enable effective automation of testing. - Test Design and Execution: Develop test plans, cases, and scenarios, and execute tests both manually and automatically. - Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and team members to understand requirements, prioritize testing efforts, and identify areas for automation. - Performance Testing: Conduct performance tests to ensure efficient software operation. - Bug Tracking: Identify, report, and track bugs. - Process Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to improve testing efficiency and quality. - Test Data Management: Manage test data and environments to ensure reliable test execution. - Documentation: Document test procedures, findings, and results.
