SDET (Python, Playwright)

As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) at Trellix, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our TACC product suite on both On-Prem and SaaS platforms. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about testing, automation, and developing high-quality software. You will be an integral part of the Quality Engineering team, collaborating closely with QA, Development, and Product teams to establish test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests for UI, API, functional, and regression testing. Additionally, you will be involved in enhancing and managing automation frameworks, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines, and analyzing test results to identify and resolve any issues in collaboration with developers. The ideal candidate for this role should possess at least 2-5 years of experience in QA automation or software development Engineer in Test. Proficiency in a programming language such as Python, Playwright, or Core Java is essential. Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools like Jenkins, and Agile methodologies is also required. Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are crucial for success in this role. Experience in the security domain would be considered an advantage. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is preferred.
