Requirements for the role qualification:

Candidate strictly should be between 4 and 10+ years (relevant test automation experience)

8. Must have created an industry standard automation framework from scratch or would have contributed towards enhancing the framework based on project needs

10. Candidate is expected to run automation scripts in dev environment to fast track identification and resolution of unit/component level defects (dev testing)

11. Candidate should have experience/know how on industry benchmarks related to:

creating packages

deploying builds

publishing to pipelines

integrating with other projects

maintaining the antifactory / build repository

creating projects as a dependency to another project

12. Candidate be able to showcase/demonstrate his work on

• GitHub projects for self-built automation framework, open-source coding, solutions etc.,
• Community Support (like Stack Overflow etc.,)

13. Should be able to explain in depth on the framework he/she is working on

• What libraries have been used
• What is the thought process behind selecting libraries
• What challenges were solved by building a framework
• What are the new innovations implemented
• How to build wrappers (for example, JSON wrapper on top of CSV)
• How to use interface and abstraction in a project
• How to implement factory design
• Explain the implementation of scenarios like read data from DB and pass it to API request body
• How to execute sequential API flow
• How to implement it if you want to execute tests on specific environments, browsers, specific test data, database without touching codebase?

14. Expertise on build management (Maven / Gradle) from scratch (without using any IDEs)

15. Expertise on creating, optimizing, managing Maven projects using commands

16. Strong Hands-on coding experience in Java and API automation (should reflect from the projects and complexity of the projects he/she would have delivered)

17. Demonstrated ability to resolve git conflicts, blames, clear understanding of git commands, review process, branches

18. Debugging and problem-solving capabilities will be assessed

19. Maturity mindset of a developer on parsing any written code and validation of the pre-written code base

20. Integration with third party applications and how the knowledge of QE (quality engineering) was applied to drive specific outcomes for each project

21. Knowledge on framework and tools leveraged in his journey to understand how QE enables vis-vis a QA approach where the application of testing is independent of how the code base has been designed

22. Knowledge of Microservices + monolith backend systems. Should have both manual and automation testing knowledge.

23. Should have worked in either RestAssured/Karate based framework and Message Queues.

24. Expertise on simulation or mocking with/without using mocking tools (Wire Mock, Mountebank

etc.,)

25. Should have worked with SQL Queries and database validations
