SDET - Automation Testing

As an SDET at Skeps, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Working closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers, you will be involved in designing and implementing robust testing frameworks, automating test execution, and driving quality throughout the software development lifecycle. We have openings for SDET I, II, and SDET III levels, and the responsibilities will be customized based on your experience and expertise. Your responsibilities will include designing, constructing, and managing scalable test automation frameworks for UI, API, and performance testing utilizing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, and Cucumber. You will lead the development of automated API test suites, integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for quick and reliable feedback, collaborate with various teams to define test strategies, track quality metrics, and enhance test coverage. Additionally, you will be involved in creating and managing infrastructure in AWS, establishing containerized test environments using Docker, conducting code reviews, mentoring junior team members, identifying critical bugs, and maintaining well-documented test cases and results. The requirements for this role include 2-7 years of experience in test automation and QA practices, proficiency in automation frameworks like Cucumber, Selenium, Playwright, and Protractor, expertise in JavaScript/Node.js and/or Java/Python for test development, a solid grasp of API/Web Services testing using tools such as Postman, Axios, and SuperAgent, familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems, knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, experience with Docker and relational databases, and understanding of various testing strategies including TDD, BDD, integration, regression, performance, stress, security, and scalability testing. Strong debugging, system analysis skills, as well as excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities are also essential for this role.
