Sr. Backend Engineer (Remote)

We're looking for a Remote(India) Backend Engineer to join our core product-engineering team. You'll work closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and data teams to build scalable, high-performance backend systems and data pipelines, with the ability to contribute end-to-end using React for the frontend and Node.js for the backend.

Tech Stack (Must Have working experience): Node.js (important) , Express.js, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Redis

Good to Have: Cube.js, Trino, ClickHouse, Python, Docker

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js + Express.js
• Work with SQL databases (PostgreSQL) and message queues (RabbitMQ or similar)
• Collaborate on analytics workflows using Trino and Cube.js
• Optimize performance, reliability, and maintainability
• Co-design internal APIs and libraries
• Partner with FE, Design, and Product to ship end-to-end features
• Ensure code quality, testing, and best practices
  

What We're Looking For

• 2-3 years backend development experience
• Strong system design
• Very strong communication skills
• Good relevant experience
• Should be good a debugging
• Worked on SAAS Tools
• More mature than their age; hunger, recognised for who they are
• They have to be good at logical, problem solving
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and system architecture
• Hands-on with SQL + event/message-driven systems
• Experience integrating with React frontends
• Solid grasp of caching (Redis), Docker, and CI/CD
• Strong problem-solving and ownership minds
  

Bonus

• Experience in e-commerce / Q-commerce SaaS, Retail Media, or Data-Intelligence platforms
• Exposure to large-scale data systems or multi-tenant product environments
