Role Overview: You will be part of CloudSEK, a leading Cyber security product company, working with a team of enthusiastic and highly driven individuals striving towards a common goal. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Python and optionally Golang. - Work on data pipelines and system components involving Kafka, Airflow, and PySpark. - Write robust code interacting with SQL/NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL and MongoDB. - Build internal tools and services, participate in architecture reviews, and manage deployments. - Collaborate closely with product, security research, and frontend teams. Qualifications Required: - Solid understanding of Python execution concepts (interpreted vs compiled). - Strong grasp of concurrency, threading, multiprocessing, and the Global Interpreter Lock (GIL). - Experience in building web applications using Django or similar frameworks, with knowledge of request-response lifecycle and ORM workflows. - Good understanding of HTTP, TCP/IP, default ports (80/443/22), stateless protocols, and network-level fundamentals. - Awareness of basic security principles, including encryption vs hashing and their real-world applications. - Familiarity with system design concepts like sharding, consistent hashing, and load balancing strategies. - Bonus: Proficiency in Golang, understanding of goroutines, defer, and waitgroups. - Bonus: Experience with cloud infrastructure, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
