Role Overview: As a Lead Network Engineer at Wipro in Bangalore, you will be responsible for overseeing network operations, driving infrastructure automation, ensuring high availability, and mentoring junior engineers. Your role will involve extensive expertise in Cisco networking, automation, security frameworks, and cloud integration to design, implement, troubleshoot, and secure network infrastructures within enterprise environments. Qualifications Required: - 8+ years of experience in network engineering, IT security, and infrastructure support. - Cisco or equivalent certifications (CCNP, CCIE preferred). - Expertise in Cisco technologies, including Catalyst, Nexus, DNA Center, ACI, NGFWs. - Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, IPS, SDWAN, DMVPN, OSPF, BGP, VLANX, NAC (802.1x deployment). - Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls, Global Protect VPN, and SilverPeak SDWAN. - Solid troubleshooting skills to effectively resolve complex network issues. - Data Management skills to visualize raw log data using tools like Tableau or Power BI. - Experience in Python scripting, Ansible automation, or similar tools is a plus. - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience. As the Network Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our customer network infrastructure. Your role will involve leading a team of Network Engineers to ensure the efficient, secure, and reliable operation of the customer network. Collaborating closely with other teams, OEMs, and stakeholders, you will support the organization's business objectives through robust and scalable network solutions. With over 11 years of experience in relevant technology/domain and exposure to Managed Service Providers within the service industry, you should possess hands-on experience in administering and troubleshooting network devices. Your technological skill set should include expertise in SDWAN solutions (Viptela, Meraki, Velocloud, Versa, CATO, etc.), multi-firewall technologies (Fire Power, Palo Alto Firewall, Panorama, Fortigate Firewall, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and Check Point), routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), MPLS, QoS, switching technologies, VPNs, monitoring tools, Cisco ACI, SD-ACCESS, Cisco DNA, Load Balancers (e.g., F5), Cisco ISE, Cisco WLC, wireless technologies, and more. Experience with Zscalar, public cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and API/automation tools (Ansible, Python) will be advantageous. Your key responsibilities will include leadership, team management, timely delivery, customer coordination, troubleshooting, performance reviews, training, and development. You will oversee network design, implementation, and maintenance, ensuring alignment with business needs, standardization, upgrades, expansions, and enhancements.
