You will be working as a full-time on-site Textile Designer for Vendome Paris, a Sustainable Fashion and Lifestyle Company located in Madhavaram Handloom Cluster, Madhavaram Village, Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh. Your primary role will involve creating textile designs for hand weaving patterns, textile prints, embroideries, and developing graphics. You will collaborate with the design team and hand weavers, research textile trends, and ensure that the designs meet the company's sustainable and ethical standards. To excel in this role, you should possess skills in creating textile graphics for hand weaving, embroidery, and prints. You should also have the understanding to convert textile graphics into block prints, screen prints, and hand batiks. Proficiency in textiles and the use of graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is essential. Experience with graphics and design principles, strong visual and creative skills, and excellent attention to detail are also key requirements. A relevant bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred. Any experience in sustainable fashion and ethical manufacturing would be an added advantage.
