Job Description: Supervisor Scrap Management Location: SG Plant, Chikhli Department: Operations Reports To: Plant Manager / Operations Head Objective The Supervisor – Scrap Management is responsible for overseeing all scrap management operations at the SG Plant, Chikhli. This role ensures the efficient movement of materials and manpower, strict adherence to Waaree SOPs, and upholds the highest safety standards. Key Responsibilities Manpower Management: Maintain daily attendance records for all manpower (gents and ladies) involved in scrap management. Efficiently manage and guide teams to ensure optimal productivity. Scrap Handling: Coordinate and ensure the timely loading of scrap from various points within the plant (including MLB 1, MLB 2, and the Scrap Warehouse). Supervise ground staff during loading operations to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Oversee baling activities at the Scrap Warehouse, ensuring compliance with quality and safety norms. Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with the Waaree Scrap Management Team, drivers, and internal manpower for smooth scrap movement. Coordinate with weighbridge operations to ensure timely weighing of loaded vehicles. Documentation & Compliance: Manage and verify all invoicing and documentation between the Waaree Scrap Management Team and transport vehicles. Ensure all activities comply with WAAREE SOPs and safety standards. Monitoring & Integrity: Monitor all operations to prevent malpractice or misconduct in scrap handling and management. Requirements Proven leadership and supervisory experience, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment. Strong experience in labor handling and team management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with email, MS Word, and MS Excel. High commitment to integrity, safety, and adherence to standard operating procedures.
