The Ethical Sourcing Executive – India, part of the Global Social Impact and Sustainability (SI & S) team, is responsible for understanding conditions in Twinings’ supply chain in India and other Asian regions (mainly tea and herbs). This role involves assessing supply chain processes, monitoring social and environmental risks, and supporting improvement initiatives to promote sustainability and ethical sourcing. The role goes beyond traditional social audits, focusing on assessing conditions in participatory and comprehensive manners, driving improvements, and supporting the implementation of remediation actions and projects to enhance the quality of life in sourcing communities, including gender, living conditions, livelihoods, health, nutrition and good working environment. Key Responsibilities Supply chain monitoring and improvements Engage with producers, farmers and factories and acting as first point of contact in the assigned region(s). Organise and conduct risk assessments in sourcing communities in the regions against the social and environmental criteria defined in the assessment tools (TCNA) by engaging with local communities and relevant stakeholders to identify their needs and priorities in a participatory manner. Conduct regular assessments to ensure compliance with ethical standards to identify and monitor potential risks within the supply chains. Evaluate supplier practices related to workers, agriculture and environmental impact, and ethical sourcing. Provide advice and onsite or online training, as and when required, to support producers and farmers groups in implementing the action plan and improving social and environmental performances. Projects Develop and implement remediation and need based risk mitigation strategies to address identified issues/risks in coordination with internal and external stakeholders. As Head of Risk Management & Payments , you will lead Passion Gaming’s risk management strategy and operations. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe, responsible and secure playing and transacting environment for the company and its customers. You will be responsible for fraud prevention, detection and mitigation – both financial and game related. You will use data analytics to detect fraudulent activities such as collusion, multiple accounts investigation/blocking and money laundering. Using both data science techniques and game knowledge, you are expected to predict and prevent fraud to protect the company. As the Head of Payments, you will oversee the entire payment operation, including the management of all deposit and withdrawal gateways, ensuring robust relationships with the respective account managers of these gateways. Your role involves monitoring the success rate of transactions and implementing corrective actions to address any discrepancies or issues, thereby maintaining seamless and efficient payment processes. Additionally, you will be responsible for the reconciliation of all gateways, ensuring that all transactions align correctly between our internal records and those of our financial partners. This position demands a proactive approach to identify and mitigate risks, optimize payment operations, monitor the KYC process and enhance the overall financial security and efficiency of the organization. You will constantly interact with different teams to develop systems and build processes to ensure best of risk management in this industry. Responsibilities - Risk Management Use game knowledge, data analytics, AI and risk identification techniques to detect, prevent and mitigate fraud – both financial and reputational. Monitor the constantly maturing regulatory gaming landscape and incorporate learnings into risk management strategies. Build strategies which eventually become industry benchmarks. Proactively detect and prevent fraud or other activity which is in violation of our Terms of Service, like multiple ids, money laundering, collusion, bonus abuse etc. by implementing anomaly scoring algorithms and user behaviour study. Manage and mentor the Risk & Payment team to evolve it to an outfit that will not only detect and address risks currently faced but also pro-actively identify and address any potential risks in the future. Build effective and robust risk management and fraud detection systems and tools, give feedback on new product or marketing initiatives and stress test systems with regards to safeguarding the company. Maintain a responsible playing environment by ensuring proper implementation of all risk management systems and processes. Analyse user behaviour to identify new patterns which may help in early detection of risk. Responsibilities – Payments and Withdrawals Establish and maintain strong relationships with account managers of various payment gateways to ensure smooth and efficient transactions. Regularly monitor success rates of payment transactions across all gateways, identifying trends or issues that may impact efficiency or security. Identify gaps in the transaction process and work closely with technical and operational teams to implement corrective actions. Ensure continuous improvement in payment operations. Oversee the reconciliation for all payment gateways, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled between our systems and those of our financial partners. Education and Experience Required A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in developing and implementing risk management, payments and responsible play strategies in the Rummy or Poker industry is mandatory. Competence in data analysis and database tools is essential. Attention to details and having an investigative bent of mind is a must have. Having a methodical approach is highly advantageous. Ability to multi-task and make quick decisions. Good team mentoring and management skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
