As a Scientist - Peptide Chemistry, your role will involve the synthesis and characterization of peptides. Your key responsibilities will include: - Planning and executing the synthesis of peptide molecules with adequate purity and quantity as per project requirements. - Developing good troubleshooting skills and complying with IPM and Safety norms. - Developing appropriate methods for special functionalized peptides. - Preparing key intermediates through solution phase synthesis and using them as building blocks for the synthesis of final target molecules. This is crucial for successfully synthesizing and delivering target compounds as per project specifications. Additionally, you will be responsible for interpreting analytical data to identify the synthesized targets and key intermediates. This is essential for successfully characterizing the synthesized targets. It is imperative that you follow lab safety and industrial hygiene practices to ensure safety compliance. Qualifications required for this role include: - M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry. - 2 to 6 years of experience in synthetic and analytical knowledge and experience of peptide molecules.
