Key Responsibilities

• Design, synthesize, and characterize novel small molecules to meet specific biological targets.
• Collaborate closely with biologists, pharmacologists, and other scientists to advance projects from hit identification through lead optimization.
• Analyze and interpret data to inform medicinal chemistry strategies and project direction.
• Maintain detailed records of experiments and results, ensuring all documentation is thorough and complies with regulatory standards.
• Present research findings to internal teams and at external conferences to communicate project progress and results.
• Stay current with relevant literature and emerging trends in medicinal chemistry to apply innovative approaches to drug design.
  

Qualifications

• Msc in Orgnic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, or a related field with a strong emphasis on synthetic organic chemistry.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or academia with a focus on medicinal chemistry and small molecule drug development.
• Proficient in modern synthetic techniques and analytical methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.
