Scientific Writing Lead

As a Scientific Writing Lead at our technology-led healthcare solutions provider, your role will involve serving as a subject matter expert for medical communications. You will be responsible for various tasks including conducting medical reviews, delivering high-quality literature searches, leading and upskilling a team of scientific writers, participating in client meetings, and collaborating cross-functionally with different teams. Your goal will be to ensure exceptional document delivery and maintain client satisfaction metrics. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as a subject matter expert for medical communications, including various types of medical content. - Demonstrate expertise in assigned therapeutic areas and disease states. - Conduct medical reviews and data fact-checks on deliverables. - Deliver high-quality literature searches and obtain copyright permissions. - Lead and upskill a team of scientific writers, prepare training documents, and participate in client meetings. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams and utilize reference manager tools and CRM platforms. Requirements: - MBBS, MD, BDS, MDS, Doctorate in research, or pharmacy qualification. - 4-12 years of experience in medical communication, scientific writing, or life sciences domain. Skills: - Strong medical writing and literature surveillance skills. - Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. - Knowledge about the Veeva platform is preferred.
