Primary Job Responsibilities – Social Media Focus Plan, create, and publish high-quality, brand-aligned content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook , with a strong emphasis on short-form video and educational health content . Produce engaging, visually compelling assets including graphics, photography, videography, Reels/TikToks , and copywriting that reflect our brand voice and mission. Manage daily scheduling, posting, and optimization of content across all platforms using approved tools. Oversee community management — respond to comments, messages, and tagged posts promptly while fostering meaningful audience engagement. Collaborate with internal experts (nurse practitioners, doctors, leadership) to create patient-friendly content from medical information. Track and report weekly and monthly social performance, including growth, engagement, top-performing content, and trends, with recommendations for improvement . Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to inform content ideas and maintain relevance. Experiment with new formats, features, and trends to keep our social presence fresh and engaging. Organize and maintain a content library of raw footage, edited assets, templates, and brand materials. About You – Social Media Specialist 2–3 years of experience managing social media channels (health, wellness, or lifestyle brands preferred). Strong video-first mindset with proven ability to produce engaging Reels, TikToks, and other short-form content. Proficient in graphic design and content creation tools (Adobe Creative Suite or Canva). Comfortable filming and editing content for social media ( basic to intermediate videography and photography skills required ). Experience with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Later, Buffer, or similar). Exceptional copywriting skills to translate complex health topics into engaging, relatable posts. Detail-oriented with a sharp eye for design, tone, and brand consistency . Strong organizational skills, able to plan ahead while responding quickly to trends. Data-driven mindset with experience using social analytics tools to track performance. Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working independently or with a cross-functional team.
