Position : Science Teacher Grades : 3 to 6 Location : Unicent School, Kompally Campus Adjacent to Vitis Villa Colony Doolapally Road, Kompally Hyderabad-500100 TG IN Reporting to : Academic Coordinator / Principal Mob: 95156 01367 /8688815005 E-Mail: [email protected] / [email protected] Job Purpose To deliver engaging and age-appropriate Science instruction to students of Grades 3 to 6, ensuring conceptual clarity, promoting scientific thinking, and nurturing a love for learning through activity-based and inquiry-driven teaching methods. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver Science lessons aligned with the school curriculum and learning objectives. Use child-centric and interactive teaching methods including experiments, models, visual aids, and project work. Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments as per academic guidelines. Encourage curiosity, observation, and inquiry-based learning among students. Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment. Track and report student progress through regular assessments and feedback. Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate Science with other subjects wherever relevant. Organize and guide Science-related activities, events, and exhibitions. Communicate regularly with parents on student performance and development. Participate in teacher training programs, workshops, and school events. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Science (B.Sc) or relevant field. B.Ed preferred. 2+ years of teaching experience in primary or middle school Science. Strong command of English and effective communication skills. Familiarity with experiential and NEP-aligned teaching practices. Skills Required Passion for teaching and working with young children. Creativity and ability to simplify scientific concepts for young learners. Classroom management and student engagement skills. Team collaboration and time management. Note : Candidates residing near the Kompally campus or willing to relocate will be preferred.
