In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to lead the development and delivery of our innovative NxtGen Researcher Programme and contribute to the establishment of the NxtGen Researcher Academy. Your main responsibility will be to engage with young people in health research, utilizing your expertise in science communication, public engagement, and pedagogy. By working closely with young individuals, schools, and community stakeholders, you will play a crucial role in inspiring the next generation of researchers and fostering sustainable partnerships within the education and health sectors. This position will be primarily based at LifeLab at the University Hospital Southampton, with opportunities for hybrid working. You may also be required to work at Southampton Science Park and UoS Highfield campus as needed. LifeLab is committed to engaging children and young people in understanding the science behind health messages. Through our program, we aim to help young individuals reflect on how their lifestyle choices can impact their health currently, in the future, and potentially on future generations.
