Job Title: Plant Incharge Captive Ready Mixed Concrete Plant Key Responsibilities: 1. Plant Operations & Production Oversee] daily operations of the RMC plant to ensure consistent, high-quality concrete production. Plan and monitor batching schedules in alignment with project requirements. Ensure optimum utilization of raw materials, equipment, and manpower. Maintain mix design accuracy and implement process control measures. 2. Quality Control & Assurance Coordinate with the QA/QC team to ensure concrete meets IS codes and project specifications. Monitor material testing (aggregates, cement, admixtures, water) and conduct trial mixes. Identify and resolve quality issues or customer complaints promptly. 3. Equipment Maintenance Ensure preventive maintenance schedules for batching plants, loaders, pumps, and mixers are followed. Minimize downtime through effective maintenance planning and equipment upkeep. Liaise with maintenance teams or external service providers when breakdowns occur. 4. Manpower & Team Management Supervise batching plant operators, loader drivers, lab technicians, helpers, and supporting staff. Conduct daily toolbox talks and enforce safety protocols. Monitor staff productivity and provide training to improve performance. 5. Raw Material & Inventory Management Ensure timely procurement and availability of raw materials (cement, aggregates, admixtures, water). Maintain stock registers, reorder levels, and consumption logs. Prevent material wastage and theft through tight control. 6. Documentation & Compliance Maintain production records, delivery logs, calibration certificates, and maintenance records. Ensure statutory compliance related to safety, pollution control, and local regulations. Coordinate with client project management teams for approvals, inspections, and updates. 7. Cost & Resource Optimization Monitor and control operational costs related to power, fuel, and manpower. Minimize rejection rates and rework through better planning and quality control. Optimize fleet and plant output to match daily demand. Key Skills & Competencies: In-depth knowledge of RMC operations and batching systems. Strong leadership, decision-making, and crisis management skills. Technical understanding of concrete mix design and construction needs. Familiarity with ERP systems or batching software. Strong interpersonal skills for coordination with site engineers, suppliers, and staff. Qualifications & Experience: Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. 4-5 years of experience in RMC plant operations, preferably in captive plants.
