The ideal candidate will have a strong background in classical, contemporary, or cultural dance forms, and the ability to inspire students through creative movement and performance. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver structured dance lessons aligned with student age and skill levels. Teach various dance styles (e.g., classical, contemporary, folk, Bollywood, hip-hop, or western), depending on curriculum and school needs. Prepare students for school events, annual day programs, competitions, and cultural festivals. Promote physical fitness, expression, discipline, and confidence through dance education. Choreograph performances and manage rehearsals. Ensure student safety during dance activities through proper technique and warm-ups. Collaborate with music, drama, and PE staff for interdisciplinary events or productions. Maintain attendance, assessment records, and report student progress. Foster an inclusive and respectful learning environment. Keep up with current dance trends and teaching methods. Qualifications & Requirements: Essential: Bachelors degree in Dance, Performing Arts, or related field. Professional training or certification in at least one dance form. Experience teaching children or adolescents in a school or dance academy. Strong choreography and stage management skills. Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills. Desirable: Experience in both Indian and international dance forms. Familiarity with school performance production and event coordination. Basic knowledge of music or rhythm accompaniment. Ability to integrate dance into broader school themes or curriculum.
