School Counselor

As a School Counselor based in Powai, Mumbai, you will be responsible for providing individual and group counseling to students across different age groups. Your focus will be on addressing emotional, social, and academic concerns while guiding students towards personal development. Collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and school leadership, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing programs that contribute to enhancing student mental health and overall well-being. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Psychology or a related field. Additionally, a minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as a School Counselor, preferably within an IGCSE or similar academic setting, is required. Your ability to demonstrate empathy and effective communication skills is crucial in building relationships with students and offering them professional and approachable support and guidance. As a School Counselor, you should possess strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. Your proficiency in identifying issues, devising strategies, and providing solutions to support students" mental health and academic success will be key in fulfilling your responsibilities effectively.
