Job Summary: Switchgear and Control Techniques Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team. This role will focus on ensuring the highest standards of quality are maintained in the design, production, and testing of electrical panels for switchgear and control systems. The Quality Engineer will play a key role in implementing quality control procedures, improving product reliability, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures for the manufacturing of switchgear and control panels. Conduct inspections and testing of materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet defined specifications and standards. Work closely with the production and design teams to provide guidance on quality improvements and problem-solving. Perform root cause analysis for product defects or non-conformities and lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Ensure compliance with ISO standards, industry regulations, and client specifications. Prepare quality reports, documentation, and audit trails, ensuring all quality activities are accurately recorded. Manage and track non-conformance issues, providing feedback to relevant teams for resolution. Monitor and evaluate the performance of production processes and recommend improvements to enhance quality and efficiency. Conduct internal audits and participate in external audits as needed. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technology, and quality management systems to support continuous improvement initiatives. Provide training and support to production staff on quality assurance procedures and best practices. Qualifications: B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering. 3-5 year of experience in Quality Engineering or related fields. Technical Skills: Basic understanding of switchgear systems, electrical circuits, and control technologies. Familiarity with Mechanical Design will be an advantage. Knowledge of SAP. Knowledge of electrical safety standards and guidelines (IEC, IS, etc.). Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
