Here are the typical requirements and responsibilities for this position: Educational Qualifications: Company Secretary (CS) Qualification: The candidate should ideally be a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). Those who have completed the CS Executive (Semi Qualifed) may also be considered. Graduation: A bachelor's degree in commerce, law, or a related field is often preferred. Skills and Competencies: Knowledge of Corporate Laws: A strong understanding of the Companies Act, SEBI regulations, FEMA, and other related laws. Drafting and Documentation: Proficiency in drafting minutes, resolutions, agreements, and other legal documents. Compliance Management: Ability to manage compliance filings, such as ROC filings, maintenance of statutory registers, and other company secretarial functions. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with clients, regulators, and other stakeholders. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure all legal and regulatory requirements are met. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and interpret legal documents and regulations. Responsibilities: Assistance in Compliance Filings: Handling routine ROC filings, preparation of annual returns, and other compliance-related documents. Corporate Governance: Assisting in the implementation of good corporate governance practices, conducting board meetings, and drafting minutes. Client Interaction: Liaising with clients for obtaining information, providing updates on compliance status, and ensuring timely submission of necessary documents. Advisory Role: Providing advisory services to clients on matters related to company law, securities law, and other corporate regulations. Research: Conducting research on various corporate law issues and keeping updated with the latest amendments and notifications. Experience: Freshers: May be considered for junior roles with training provided. Experienced Candidates: Typically, 1-3 years of experience in a similar role in a PCS firm or a corporate environment is preferred. Software Proficiency: Familiarity with secretarial software (like MCA21, XBRL filing software, etc.) and general office software (MS Office) is often required.
