As an experienced Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for producing and verifying various electrical design deliverables including Single Line Diagrams, Block Cable Diagrams, Schematic/Connection Diagrams, General Electrical Equipment Layouts, Lighting Layouts, Earthing Layouts, Hazardous Area Layouts, and Cable & Drum Schedules. Your expertise will be crucial in tasks such as Cable Scheduling and Routing Design, Lighting Design, Earthing Systems, Hazardous Area Classification, and Electrical Bulk Material Take-off. You should be proficient in utilizing industry-standard CAD systems like AutoCAD and Microstation for creating 2-D electrical drawings. Additionally, you are expected to have a basic understanding of international design standards such as IEC/CENELEC/ATEX and ANSI/NEC. Familiarity with 3-D CAD modeling systems like E3D for electrical design applications will be advantageous. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering and possess 16 to 20 years of experience in an Electrical Engineering Design Environment. Your ability to review engineering design deliverables in a multi-discipline task force-based environment, along with experience in FEED or EPC engineering design during project execution, will be essential. Proficiency in ACAD, Microstation, and 3D tools is mandatory for this position.
