The 5 bed ICU is adjacent to the ED providing easy access for consults. The hospital accepts transfers from across the Northwest region. We have excellent relationships with our colleagues including Anaesthesia, General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Psychiatry, Pathology, Radiology, Pediatrics and Family Medicine. Ksyen Regional Hospital welcomed its first patients in November 2024. More than double the size of the previous hospital, it is a center for trauma services, acute care, surgical services pathology, radiology, clinical support and pharmacy services for the Northwest region.
