Scan to BIM Modeler

We are looking for an experienced Scan to BIM modeler for point cloud data processing and creating 3D BIM modeling from scans for various structural and architectural projects.

Responsibilities:

· Import, clean, and organize point cloud data (e.g., .rcs, .e57, .las formats) into BIM software.

· Align scans using reference points or coordinates.

· Segment and manage large scan files to optimize model performance.

· Accurately model architectural, structural, and sometimes MEP elements from point clouds.

· Follow Level of Detail (LOD) requirements, typically LOD 200–400.

· Create custom families when standard Revit families do not match scanned elements.

· Cross-check the model against the point cloud to verify dimensional accuracy.

· Use section views, overlays, and comparison tools for precision validation.

· Prepare deliverables like Revit models, 2D drawings (plans, sections, elevations), and IFC files.

· Proficient in As-built verification and clash detection.

· Well experienced in software’s of Autodesk Revit, Recap, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Faro Scene, Leica Cyclone and Trimble Real Works
