About Role: Ensono is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager of Observability to lead the observability strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering and observability platforms, enabling proactive performance monitoring, issue resolution, and scalability improvements. This leadership role requires technical expertise, collaboration, and the ability to work across teams to ensure an efficient observability experience. Key Responsibilities: - Lead Observability Strategy: Develop, implement, and refine the company's observability framework for robust visibility into all production systems and services. - Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of engineers in building scalable observability solutions and fostering continuous learning. - Incident Management: Oversee alerting and incident response processes for rapid issue identification, diagnosis, and resolution. - Tool Selection and Integration: Evaluate and integrate observability tools aligned with business goals and infrastructure requirements. - Collaboration: Work with engineering, DevOps, and IT teams to define KPIs and ensure system reliability and performance visibility. - Data-Driven Decisions: Leverage observability data for proactive system optimization and feature improvements. - Automation and Scalability: Ensure observability solutions scale with organizational needs through process automation and resource optimization. - Reporting and Insights: Provide regular reports on system health, performance trends, and incident root cause analysis to leadership. Qualifications: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 8+ years of technical leadership experience, with at least 5 years in an observability-focused role. - Expertise in observability tools and understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud environments. - Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and tracing systems, as well as coding and scripting for automation. - Strong leadership and communication skills, with a track record of managing high-performing teams. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with containerization and container orchestration platforms. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps best practices, chaos engineering, and resiliency testing. - Certifications in cloud platforms such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.,
