Scala Developer with Akka Http

As a highly skilled and experienced Scala Engineer, you will be joining our Core Banking Base Development team to contribute to the development and delivery of our next-generation banking platform. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and implementing high-quality, scalable, and resilient solutions using cutting-edge technologies like Scala, Akka, and Microservices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and mentor junior engineers to contribute to the team's growth. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and deploy high-performance, scalable, and resilient Microservices using Scala and Akka. - Leverage Akka Streams for efficient data processing and stream processing. - Implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices. - Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle and adhere to agile methodologies. - Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in Scala, Akka, and other relevant technologies. **Qualifications:** - 3-8 years of hands-on experience in Scala and Akka HTTP, Akka Actor. - Strong understanding of Akka Streams and its applications. - Experience in designing and developing Microservices architectures. - Proficiency in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and experience with message brokers. - Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms. - Knowledge of scripting languages like Bash, Python and experience with CI/CD pipelines. - Familiarity with GRPC protocol, Protocol Buffers, and DevOps practices. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
