Demonstrate proficiency in Scala and a strong understanding of functional programming principles to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. Embrace the Power of Cloud & DevOps: Collaborate closely with the DevOps team to manage our infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. Utilize your expertise in CI/CD pipelines to streamline development processes and ensure continuous delivery. Champion high availability and performance, optimizing systems for scalability and reliability. Bridge the Gap Between Backend & Frontend: Work effectively with front-end developers to design and implement robust APIs and services that power our dynamic web applications. Database Management Expertise: Support database management and optimizations, primarily using MySQL to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval. The Ideal Candidate: 4+ years of experience as a Scala developer or a related role. In-depth knowledge of Scala and the Play framework. Solid proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming principles. Experience with GCP and cloud infrastructure management is a plus. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) is a plus. Broad understanding of applications and their functionalities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. A passion for building high-quality, scalable web applications.
