Inspector - Scaffolding

Scaffolding Inspector shall have

received an engineering

apprenticeship or training in

Scaffolding engineering and have

had approximately Ten (10) years

proven suitable experience. At

least four (4) years shall have

been in Inspector capacity, 2 years

as Scaffolding Supervisor, and 3

years as a scaffolding craftsman.

CISRS Certification is mandatory.

? Scaffolding Inspector shall have the CISRS standardized scaffolding inspector course

certificate, or CISRS affiliates and internationally recognized statutory bodies such as

C.I.T.B., SIMIAN SKILL, Safety & Access, NASC or AECOR. Should also have experience

supervision during construction, inspection, and certification of scaffolding structures.

? Scaffolding Inspector educational qualifications: Preferably Diploma in Civil or Mechanical

Engineering discipline or standards-based qualification

? Shall carry relevant training competency card when working on site

? Scaffolding Inspector must be able to interpret engineering drawings and have a sound

knowledge of Oil and Gas industrial plant safety,

? Scaffolding Inspector must have a fairly good knowledge & understanding of Scaffolding

codes of practices and relevant British standards.

? Scaffolding Inspector must have worked on major jobs.

? Scaffolding Inspector shall demonstrate an understanding of HSE issues,

? Scaffolding Inspector shall be capable of performing all necessary administrative Work.

Administrative Work(s) may include, but shall not be limited to, records maintaining etc,

? Scaffolding Inspector must be capable to input required data for the COMPANY

computerized engineering administration system and submitting daily report,

? Shall have experienced in scaffold measurement sheet, and should be able to update

scaffold register and keeps inspection records (check sheet).

? Be able to exert full disciplinary and trade control over the artisans for any modification

during inspection,

? Be able to communicate in the English (IELTS 5 Equivalent) and the language of his

artisans.

? Shall be certified medically fit for scaffolding Works and Work at height.
