Role & responsibilities He must be well trained and experience with valid certificates, knowing and well aware of all the requirements and standards of the project - Know the scaffolding jobs and requirements in the project - Informing scaffold erection crew what, where, schedule and possible hazards and its prevention by conducting TOOLBOX TALK / SAFETY TALK before the start of work - Check the area whether the scaffolding structure to be erected is in good condition where ground shall be firm or the structure where the scaffold will be tied and can adequately carry and distribute the super imposed load applied at each members of scaffold without failure - Supervising all scaffold erection, modification and dismantling works and ensure the scaffold is constructed base on standard and general procedure with accordance to project requirements. - Managing scaffold erection crew for handling, transferring, storing and disposal of scaffolding materials and providing scaffolding reports. - Preliminary inspection of erected scaffolding structure, checking all members/part and connections of scaffold before the tagging and use - Supervise housekeeping after the scaffolding works is done

Only the inspector is allowed to sign in the Scaff-tag. - To inform the foreman or supervisor what are additional requirement and adjustment to the scaffold erected prior to its use. - To ensure that the scaffolds are inspected weekly or every alteration that have been done to it. - Provide technical support regarding scaffolding requirements and procedure. - To educate, supervise and assist all the worker reporting to him.
