You will be working as an Electronics Engineer in the Production Engineering Department at Hazira. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing automation projects in the Heavy Manufacturing Industry. Your role will also involve supporting IoT, Digitalisation, and Digital Transformation projects. You will be required to design Control Panels, handle System Integration, and carry out PLC Programming/Application Development for industrial automation projects. Additionally, you will be involved in commissioning, training, and preparing operational and maintenance manuals for hand-over. Mandatory Skills: - Understanding of industrial processes and their control mechanisms. - Experience in EPD: Electrical (LT) Panel Designing & Industrial Panel wiring. - Proficiency in electrical drafting using CAD software. - Knowledge of PLC selection, installation, and wiring. - Familiarity with various sensors available in the market such as Positional, Flow, Temperature, Pressure, Level, etc. - Ability to select and interface actuators like relays, contactors, solenoid, servo motors/stepper motors according to the application. - Strong fundamentals of AC variable frequency drives, parameter settings, open-loop and closed-loop controls. - Experience in selection, installation, wiring, and parameter setting of AC servo drives. - Knowledge of industrial safety and related devices for both Human and Machine safety. - Hands-on experience in PLC programming, especially in areas like Basic instructions, Data handling, Analog signal processing, Interrupts, HSC, PTO, PID Instructions, Interfacing using IO lines, and Debugging techniques. (Knowledge of Mitsubishi with GX Works preferred) - Proficiency in creating new HMI programs, tag generation, UI development, HMI communication, and protocols. - Understanding of relevant National and International standards. - Basics of SCADA, including creating new SCADA applications, tag generation, UI development, SCADA communication, and protocols. - Ability to troubleshoot problems in a challenging shop-floor environment. - Good communication, interpersonal, leadership skills, Innovative mindset, time management, project planning/execution skills, and basics of estimation and costing. Preferable Skills: - Experience in Automation and IIoT interfacing using SoC-based controllers, SBCs, and advanced sensors. - Understanding of data science, digitalisation, and digital transformation. - Knowledge of high-level programming languages like Python, VB, C#, etc. - Familiarity with communication protocols such as Modbus (RS-485, TCP/IP), and MQTT. - Understanding of AI/ML/RPA/API. - Design of hydraulic & pneumatic control systems. - Knowledge of different types of welding and other fabrication processes. - Experience in vendor development and coordination with vendors for technical assessment & development, including legal aspects like IP protection, etc.,
