Location: Chennai/Onsite The Guidewire Policy Center Configuration Developer will be responsible for partnering with technical and business teams and leads to plan, design, develop and release Guidewire Policy Center products. You will work with Technical and Business leads during Guidewire Policy Center implementations, actively participating in requirements review, assessment, and high-level and detailed sizing of required configuration and technical effort. Your responsibilities will include configuring new policy products and policy lines, extending existing products and data models, UI screens, Custom Form Patterns, and implementing ISO circulars for the SBT products. You will analyze the impact of changes related to products present in Production and design and end-to-end implement Guidewire jobs. Additionally, you will support various life-cycle phases during and post-implementation, including production support and maintenance. To excel in this role, you must have 5+ years of experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration development using GOSU with PolicyCenter v8, 9, or 10. You should also have 5+ years of experience developing web-based Java/J2EE or .Net applications, along with experience with web service consuming, using the Guidewire EDGE Layer and APIs. Experience with configuring Product Model, Rating Management module, Ratebooks, rateroutines, and ratetables is required, as well as experience with major flows and rules including Policy Submissions, Policy Change, Cancellation, Renewal, Rewrite, and Policy Reinstatement. Demonstrated expertise and experience with Guidewire APIs, Product Designer, GX Model, Integrations, and Product Model development is preferred. Strong experience with Gosu query API and SQL is also required, along with knowledge of Commercial P&C insurance. You should have experience with production support, leading offshore teams, and possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to navigate through and lead teams to solutions is essential. Moreover, you should have strong experience with XML technologies and be experienced with Agile methodology and tooling in a technical owner capacity. Experience with source control tools like GIT, TFS, DevOps, or similar is also beneficial for this role.,
