Role & responsibilities: Leadership in Proposal Development Lead preparation of complex technical and commercial proposals for large-scale water and wastewater treatment projects. Review and validate tender documents, specifications, and client requirements. Ensure proposals are competitive, compliant, and aligned with company strategy. Strategic Input Provide insights into bid/no-bid decisions and risk assessments. Develop innovative, cost-effective solutions tailored to client needs. Support business development teams in positioning the company for success. Technical Expertise Guide process and design teams in developing accurate technical solutions. Evaluate treatment technologies (CPU,RO, UF, MBR, ETP, STP, desalination, etc.) for suitability and efficiency. Ensure proposals meet industry standards, sustainability goals, and regulatory requirements. Commercial Management Oversee cost estimation, vendor negotiations, and pricing strategies. Balance technical integrity with commercial competitiveness. Support contract negotiations with clients and partners. Client & Stakeholder Engagement Represent the company in client meetings, presentations, and technical discussions. Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders. Provide post-bid clarifications and support during contract finalization. Mentorship & Process Improvement Mentor junior proposal engineers and share best practices. Standardize proposal templates, tools, and processes for efficiency. Drive continuous improvement in proposal quality and turnaround time. Preferred candidate profile 5- 9 years in proposal engineering, tendering, or estimation within the water treatment industry, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
