Job Description: ALTEN India is seeking a highly skilled Japanese Language Query Analyst with a strong background in mechanical/automotive engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing multilingual support and technical query resolution, acting as a bridge between English-speaking technical teams and Japanese-speaking stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Translation & Communication: Translate technical documentation, customer communication, and support materials from English to Japanese. Act as a language expert to support help desk teams in communicating with Japanese-speaking customers and stakeholders. Interpret technical discussions and ensure effective cross-language communication. Query Management & Ticket Resolution: Analyze and resolve day-to-day query inflow tickets within defined SLA timelines. Categorize tickets, update mandatory input details, and carry out query reduction analysis for continuous improvement. Handle priority issues and market escalations with timely and accurate resolutions. Technical Analysis: Review and analyze engineering drawings, 3D models (DMUs), SAP interfaces, EBOM, SBOM, and other digital tools to provide precise technical responses. Ensure all outputs are technically sound and linguistically accurate. Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Parts Engineering, Parts & Service Documentation, and Technical Service & Market teams. Liaise with internal teams for inputs and clarification to ensure smooth resolution of queries. Skills & Tools: Proficiency in Japanese (reading, writing, and speaking) SAP & PLM tools Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Strong analytical and documentation skills Understanding of mechanical/automotive components and terminology
