Video Editor & Motion Graphics Artist Location: [Kukatpally, Hyderabad - Hybrid] Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview We are looking for a creative and technically skilled Video Editor & Motion Graphics Artist to join our marketing agency. This role is central to shaping how our clients’ stories come alive across social media, digital campaigns, and brand films. You’ll be responsible for editing high-impact videos, designing motion graphics, and ensuring every piece of content feels modern, engaging, and platform-ready. Key Responsibilities Video Editing Edit short-form content (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok) and long-form videos (YouTube, webinars, case studies, brand stories). Cut raw footage into compelling narratives with a strong sense of timing, pacing, and flow. Sync footage with background scores, sound effects, and voiceovers. Clean up audio, adjust levels, and apply basic sound design where required. Color correct and grade videos to maintain consistent visual tone across brands. Repurpose one piece of content into multiple platform-specific versions (e.g., a webinar into short clips, a reel into LinkedIn format). Motion Graphics Design and animate lower thirds, title cards, logo reveals, and text overlays. Create simple 2D animations, infographics, and transitions to explain concepts visually. Develop branded motion templates for recurring content like intros, outros, and bumpers. Work with static design assets (from Photoshop/Illustrator/Canva) and convert them into animated elements. Animate captions, highlights, and kinetic typography for high-engagement content. Creative Collaboration Work closely with the social media/content team to bring scripts, ideas, and storyboards to life. Suggest creative ways to enhance storytelling through editing and motion design. Collaborate with designers and copywriters to ensure brand consistency. Technical & File Management Maintain an organized workflow for footage, project files, and exports. Deliver in multiple formats (vertical, horizontal, square) optimized for each platform. Stay updated on best practices for export settings, compression, and delivery. Ensure quick turnaround without compromising on quality. Required Skills & Tools Editing Software : Adobe Premiere Pro OR Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve (preferred bonus). Motion Graphics : Adobe After Effects (essential). Design : Basic knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator for asset preparation. Strong storytelling sense, creative instincts, and an eye for detail. Understanding of pacing for different platforms (fast-cut reels vs. slower narrative videos). Knowledge of aspect ratios, resolutions, and codecs for social media, YouTube, and OTT. Familiarity with trending editing styles, transitions, memes, and audio sync trends. Nice to Have (Good Add-ons) Experience with 3D animation software (Cinema4D, Blender, etc.). Knowledge of sound mixing, Foley, or music editing. Ability to shoot raw content (DSLR, mirrorless, or phone setups). Familiarity with social media analytics to understand what edits perform best. Qualifications 2-4 years of experience in video editing and motion graphics (agency or freelance). A strong portfolio showcasing both short-form edits and motion graphics projects .
