SAS-PySpak Engineer

You are looking for a talented Data Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join your team in Pune/Hyderabad/Gurgaon/Hybrid location. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for converting and optimizing SAS code into PySpark using in-house tools and participating in end-to-end migration projects. Your role will involve developing and maintaining data pipelines in PySpark, ensuring seamless integration with Azure cloud services, and conducting rigorous testing and validation of converted code to meet performance benchmarks and client requirements. To excel in this role, you must have at least 4 years of experience in SAS and PySpark coding, with proven experience in migration projects. You should possess a strong understanding of testing and validating high-quality code, along with experience working with Azure cloud services such as Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Databricks. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal guidance are essential. Good communication skills are important for effectively engaging with onshore clients in the services industry. Experience with CI/CD pipelines is preferred. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with clients to understand project requirements, communicating progress, and addressing concerns. You will troubleshoot and resolve issues independently, identifying and mitigating problems early in the development cycle. Maintaining a proactive approach to identifying improvements in code conversion and migration processes will be crucial for success in this role.
