SAS Analyst

You are invited to join ValueLabs as a SAS ADMIN with experience in SAS Viya, based in Bengaluru. With a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, you will be responsible for the administration of SAS 9.4 and SAS Viya, ensuring smooth operations on Linux/Unix and Windows OS. Your expertise should extend to SAS Grid Manager, SAS Studio, SAS Enterprise Guide, and SAS Visual Analytics. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is crucial for SAS Viya deployments. Your role will involve hands-on implementation and configuration of SAS solutions, along with a good understanding of data integration, ETL processes, and database connectivity. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Deployment and configuration of SAS applications, including integration with other systems, will be part of your responsibilities. Monitoring SAS servers, logs, and processes to identify and proactively resolve issues will be key. Troubleshooting performance bottlenecks, errors, and system failures, followed by root cause analysis and preventive measures implementation, are crucial aspects of the role. Ensuring security and compliance of SAS environments, including implementing encryption, authentication, and authorization mechanisms, will be required. Regular audits, security patch applications, and adherence to organizational security policies are essential. You will be expected to create and maintain detailed documentation for SAS environments, configurations, and processes. Providing training and support to end-users and team members, developing best practices, and standard operating procedures for SAS administration will also fall under your responsibilities.
