Reports to: CPO, dotted line to CEO Location: Remote, preferably India. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 or 9 AM ET start time; up to 8 hours/day with occasional extended hours Position Overview We’re seeking a forward-thinking AI Engineer & IT Specialist to lead the development of AI-driven solutions while managing the company’s IT infrastructure. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives in both strategic innovation and hands-on support, helping shape our future through automation, optimization, and reliable tech operations. Key Responsibilities AI & Automation Engineering Design, build, and scale proprietary AI-powered systems—including our internal AI Assistant—and develop APIs and backend services to support seamless user interaction. Analyze operational workflows and partner with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies and implement scalable AI-driven automation solutions. Design, deploy, and maintain AI/ML models that improve decision-making and streamline tasks Build and manage AI pipelines—from data ingestion and preprocessing to deployment and monitoring Continuously assess and refine AI system performance; Conduct advanced research in AI and machine learning, develop novel algorithms, analyze datasets for insights, and stay current with emerging trends and technologies. Maintain and evolve AI systems based on user needs and new tools, support internal users with training and documentation, and collaborate directly with leadership to propose and implement ongoing improvements. Information Technology Operations Serve as the primary Help Desk contact for internal IT support, resolving hardware/software issues Manage onboarding/offboarding processes, including hardware setup and account provisioning Administer Google Business Listings, Facebook page access, Pandadoc, Asana, and other platforms Oversee technology security measures and manage company tech contracts Maintain phone systems and IT inventory, ensuring all equipment is up-to-date and accounted for Help maintain the SG Portal and other internal systems Develop and enforce IT policies, including team training and compliance reviews General Duties Effectively communicate with everyone in the organization and with external partners, both verbally and in writing. Qualifications Eager to learn, research, and execute in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines Excellent communication skills; able to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders Experience building internal tools or data systems using no-code/low-code platforms and automation tools Deep understanding of AI and machine learning principles Technical Proficiency Programming Languages: Python, Java, Go, Node.js, R, C++ Frameworks: Express.js, Spring Boot, Flask, FastAPI Use Cases: API development, microservices, data pipelines, model deployment Cloud & Infrastructure Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP Skills: Docker, Kubernetes, serverless computing, CI/CD pipelines Use Cases: Hosting models, scaling inference workloads, managing compute resources Data Engineering Databases: SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) Tools: Apache Kafka, Apache Spark Use Cases: ETL workflows, real-time analytics, feature engineering AI/ML Frameworks Libraries: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Keras Use Cases: Model prototyping, supervised/unsupervised learning, neural network design LLM & API Integration APIs: OpenAI (ChatGPT, GPT-4), Claude, Gemini, Copilot Skills: Prompt engineering, API orchestration, workflow embedding Use Cases: Chatbots, intelligent assistants, document summarization, automation IT & Support Experience 1–3 years of IT support or equivalent experience Proficient in troubleshooting hardware/software issues and managing digital platforms Familiarity with property management systems is a plus Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred Physical Demands & Working Conditions Capable of working up to 8+ hours/day, with occasional longer days May need to lift or move office equipment (~25 lb) Occasionally required to climb, kneel, crouch, bend, or crawl Must be able to sit and use a computer for extended periods Must be able to attend video calls and communicate with stakeholders on calls. Must be located in a location with consistent reliable internet access.
