You will be responsible for BoM Management & DMU as part of the Mechanical Engineering team at Ather, based in IBC, Bangalore. You will report to the Team Lead for BoM Management & DMU and work on various tasks including vehicle packaging, concept generation, layout creation, change content identification, impact analysis, and risk assessment. Your role will also involve conducting Vehicle Interaction Studies, DMU checks, report generation, and driving closure. Additionally, you will be involved in preparing add-delete sheets at different project stages, managing models and variants EBOM, creating layouts with variants rule, and ensuring knowledge of the system release process, release workflow cycle, and change management. You will work on Product Configuration tools, EBOM variants, MBOM variants, EBOM & MBOM Part Validation & Release, BOM Audit, and Closure, as well as TC Enhancements/Customisation, Staging validation, and Deployment Sign Off. Your responsibilities will also include 3D and 2D drawing creation at part, subassembly, and layout levels, following the Coordinate system, GD&T, and tolerance stack-up analysis. The role requires experience in CAD tools such as Teamcenter, UG Nx, CATIA, and exposure to SAP/ERP. Proficiency in Python or equivalent coding software, system-level packaging studies, interaction checks, DFx of automobiles, and e2W knowledge will be advantageous. Experience in Teamcenter, E-Bom, MBOM, release, and version management, as well as design process/CAD automation using NX Open AI, will also be essential. In terms of behavioral competencies, you should be adept at generating ideas, concept creation, and detailing, analyzing situations related to EBOM management, evaluating problems, investigating issues, communicating information effectively, and adapting to change. To qualify for this role, you should hold a B.Tech or equivalent degree with a specialization in Mechanical Engineering or Machine Design and possess the required number of years of relevant experience working with CAD packages as per the RRF specifications.,
