As a Shift Supervisor at Hitachi Energy in Mysore, India, you will be an integral part of the Transformers Business Unit team, contributing to the transformation of energy through innovative technologies. In this dynamic and fast-paced business environment, your role will involve supervising the shift teams" progress in accordance with work plans set by Production Management. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the safe and proper use of machinery, equipment, and production lines, as well as collaborating with the Production Manager to create an efficient work environment that adheres to production schedules and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and submit contract reviews and dimension sheets for inquiries - Generate die drawings for customer product drawings and coordinate with SCM for procurement - Schedule production to meet customer requirements and monitor daily production planning - Perform SAP/ECS activities such as creating production orders and ensuring quality compliance - Engage workmen in QMS, Safety activities, and documentation - Allocate and oversee shift work plan execution within production lines - Provide feedback and recommendations to management on production line issues - Assist in staff movements and resolving technical/quality problems during shifts - Lead the shift team in maintaining cooperation, resolving issues, and ensuring on-time delivery - Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and guidelines Qualifications: - Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical engineering - Minimum 4 years of relevant production experience in shifts, total experience not exceeding 10 years - Experience as a Shift Leader in Continuous Process manufacturing industries - Proficiency in manufacturing methodologies and standards - Strong analytical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods - Knowledge of MS Office and databases, SAP PP module knowledge preferred - Attention to detail and results-driven approach - Excellent organizational and leadership abilities - Proficiency in Kannada and English communication preferred At Hitachi Energy, we value safety and integrity, and we expect our employees to uphold these core values by taking responsibility for their actions, caring for colleagues, and contributing to the success of the business.
