A reputed partner school of the Subramaniam Academy of Performing Arts (SaPa) is looking for a passionate and qualified Western Music Teacher to join their team in Hyderabad. If you re passionate about music education and love working with children, we d love to connect! At SaPa, we re on a mission to make high-quality music education accessible for all. Our curriculum blends tradition with innovation, and we re looking for someone who can bring music to life in the classroom. What You ll Do: Teach Western vocal music to school students, using SaPa s structured curriculum. Integrate music theory (Western classical, contemporary, or both) into your sessions. Lead classroom sessions with creativity and discipline, using instruments like the keyboard or guitar to support learning. Manage choirs and small ensembles; basic conducting skills are a plus. Prepare students for performances, assessments, and school events like Annual Day and showcases. Collaborate with fellow teachers and school staff to create a vibrant music culture. Who we are looking for: You hold a degree or diploma in Western music (Bachelor s in Music, Trinity certifications, etc.). You specialize in either vocal or instrumental music. You have strong knowledge of music theory. You re proficient in at least one instrument (keyboard/guitar preferred). You have experience working with children or in a school environment. You have good classroom management and interpersonal skills. You re patient, adaptable, and passionate about education. You re a team player with a collaborative spirit.
