We are looking for an experienced SAP FI and Vertex consultant. The candidate must have strong knowledge of SAP FI and Vertex Oseries. The ideal candidate should also have a good understanding of direct and indirect taxes worldwide. The candidate must be able to work independently and configure both SAP and Vertex Oseries. The ideal candidate should have 5-10 years of experience with SAP FI and Vertex and have worked on at least 1-2 full implementation projects. Responsibilities: Analyze and design business processes and create documentation for new processes using SAP FI and Vertex Oseries. Configure SAP FI and Vertex Oseries. Integrate SAP S4 with Vertex Oseries using the Vertex connector (SIC). Troubleshoot tax issues in SAP and Vertex. Act as a Tax Subject Matter Expert (SME) and guide team decisions. Work with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions. Provide solutions that apply across different teams. Analyze and configure Vertex Accelerator and Accelerator Plus tools. Conduct regular audits to ensure processes comply and improve where needed. Qualifications: Bachelors degree or higher in Finance, Tax, Information Technology, or a similar field. 7-10 years of experience with SAP FI and Vertex Oseries. At least 1-2 full implementation projects and 2-3 support projects. Hands-on experience with configuring and testing Vertex Oseries and SAP integration. Strong knowledge of SAP FICO business processes, including SAP FI integration with PTP and OTC. Understanding of global tax processes. Ability to work with developers to create functional specification documents. Expert in SAP integration with Vertex Oseries. Advanced skills in creating Functional Designs
