The Application Developer - SAP UX designs and builds SAP Fiori/UI5 web applications and SAP Mobile Development Kit (MDK) mobile apps. The role focuses on creating forms and user flows, especially for SAP Asset Manager Checklists, while ensuring a seamless UX across desktop and mobile. The developer integrates apps with SAP BTP Mobile Services for onboarding, push, offline sync, and secure connectivity. They collaborate with functional and backend teams to consume OData services, troubleshoot issues, and deliver performant, maintainable solutions aligned to SAP best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with SAPUI5 and Fiori (freestyle and/or Fiori elements)
• Proficiency in building forms and flows in Fiori/UI5
• Experience with SAP Asset Manager Checklists (configuration, extension, validation)
• Experience developing mobile apps using SAP Mobile Development Kit (MDK)
• Working knowledge of SAP BTP Mobile Services (onboarding, connectivity, destinations, push)
• Ability to consume OData services in UI5/MDK
• Experience deploying to SAP Fiori Launchpad and managing app lifecycle
• Troubleshooting, performance tuning, and debugging skills in UI5/MDK

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance forms and applications using SAP Fiori/UI5.
• Design, configure, and maintain SAP Asset Manager Checklists, including validations and business logic.
• Build and extend mobile applications using SAP MDK aligned with SAP Asset Manager use cases.
• Integrate apps with SAP BTP Mobile Services for onboarding, destinations, push notifications, and offline capabilities.
• Consume and bind OData services in UI5/MDK; collaborate with backend teams as needed.
• Package, deploy, and support apps on Fiori Launchpad and mobile channels.
• Ensure performance, usability, accessibility, and robust error handling.
• Document technical designs, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
