Role Overview

SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Implementations:

  Lead specific workstreams within SAP SD module implementation, rollout, and support projects.

• Analyze Requirements:

  Conduct detailed business process analysis and map requirements to SAP SD functionalities.

• Solution Design & Configuration:

  Perform comprehensive SAP SD configuration for areas like sales order processing, pricing, billing, shipping, and credit management.

• Master Data Management:

  Exhibit strong knowledge of SAP SD Master Data Management and its business impact.

• Develop Specifications:

  Develop clear functional specifications for custom developments, collaborating with ABAP teams.

• Ensure Integration:

  Ensure seamless integration of SAP SD with other modules (FI/CO, MM, PP).

• Lead Testing:

  Lead and execute testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT) to ensure solution quality.

• Provide Guidance:

  Provide functional guidance and support to junior team members and clients.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• 6-8 years of hands-on experience as an SAP SD Functional Consultant.
• Proven experience with at least 1-2 end-to-end SAP SD implementations.
• Strong expertise in SAP SD configuration and customization.
• Demonstrated knowledge of SAP SD integration points with other modules.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage client expectations, and contribute effectively within a team.
