SAP S/4 HANA Transportation Management Functional Engineer

As an SAP TM Functional Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in analyzing, configuring, and implementing transportation solutions in the SAP S/4HANA landscape. Your focus will be on improving logistics, planning, and execution to enhance supply chain efficiency. Here is what you can expect in this role: Responsibilities: - **Solution Design**: - Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders. - Design solutions within the SAP ECC/S4 landscape, addressing transportation and logistics needs using LE-TRANS, TM, and S/4 Basic Shipping. - **Configuration & Implementation**: - Own the delivery of solution components through SAP configuration and collaboration with Developers. - Integrate SAP TM with modules like MM, SD, and EWM for seamless operations. - **Process Optimization**: - Streamline transportation operations to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. - Utilize embedded analytics for insights into transportation KPIs. - **Testing & Deployment**: - Develop test cases and perform system testing. - Support QA Automation engineers in achieving 80% Test Automation using tools like Tricentis. - Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and smooth system deployment. - **Integration & Interfaces**: - Work with EDI/IDOC interfaces for external communication. - Ensure smooth integration of SAP LE-TRANS with non-SAP systems. - **Support & Maintenance**: - Provide ongoing support and training to end users. - Troubleshoot and resolve transportation process-related issues. Qualifications: - **Technical Expertise**: - Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management architecture. - Hands-on experience in SAP TM configuration and implementation. - **Domain Knowledge**: - Deep understanding of supply chain management and transportation processes. - **Integration Skills**: - Familiarity with SAP TM integration with MM, SD, EWM, and Finance modules. - Experience with middleware tools and interface technologies. - **Analytical Skills**: - Ability to analyze complex logistics scenarios and propose optimized solutions. - **Soft Skills**: - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Effective project management and documentation capabilities. - Value-oriented mindset with a passion for creating positive business outcomes.
