Role Summary

The SAP RE-FX Consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting the SAP Flexible Real Estate (RE-FX) module. The role involves understanding business processes related to real estate management, lease administration, and integrating RE-FX with other SAP modules like FI, CO, PM, and PS.

Key Responsibilities

1. Requirements Gathering & Solution Design

• Work with business stakeholders to understand real estate and lease management processes.
  
• Design end-to-end RE-FX solutions including contracts, leasing, valuations, and real estate objects.
  
• Perform GAP analysis and create functional specifications.
  

2. Configuration

• Configure RE-FX components:
  
• Real estate master data
  
• Contract types
  
• Measurement & valuation rules
  
• Lease accounting per IFRS 16 / ASC 842
  
• Conditions, settlement rules, and rent adjustment
  
• Set up integration with other SAP modules (FI, CO, PM).
  

3. Lease Accounting & Compliance

• Implement IFRS16/ASC842 functional requirements.
  
• Support calculations for lease liabilities, right-of-use assets, and contract valuations.
  

4. Testing & Documentation

• Prepare test scripts and perform unit, integration, and UAT testing.
  
• Create configuration documents, functional specs, process flows, and training materials.
  

5. Go-Live Support

• Provide cutover planning, data migration support, user training, and postgo-live troubleshooting.
  

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with ABAP developers for enhancements, reports, forms, and interfaces.
  
• Collaborate with FI/CO, PM, MM teams for smooth process integration.
  

Required Skills

• Strong functional knowledge of

  SAP RE-FX

  .
• Deep understanding of

  leasing processes

  (real estate, subleasing, contract management).
• Experience in

  IFRS 16 / ASC 842

  accounting rules.
• Familiarity with

  FI/CO integration

  .
• Ability to write functional specifications for ABAP developments.
  
• Experience with

  data migration tools

  (LSMW, BAPIs, BDC, etc.).
• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
  

Good to Have

• Experience with S/4HANA Real Estate (RE-FX on HANA).
  
• Knowledge of SAP PM, MM, and PS.
  
• Exposure to SAP RE classic (REM) is a plus.
  
• Experience with Fiori apps related to real estate.
