Here's a Job Description for an SAP ABAP Development for HANA position: Job Title: SAP ABAP Development for HANA Consultant We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Development for HANA consultant with 5+ years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in ABAP on HANA, including Interfaces (IDOC, Proxy, BAPI), Enhancements, Reports, CDS Views, AMDP, Adobe Forms, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS). This is a contract-to-hire (C2H) position, with a work-from-office (WFO) model, and we are looking for immediate to 15-day joiners. Roles and Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality ABAP programs and solutions optimized for SAP HANA. Implement and enhance interfaces using IDOCs, Proxies, and BAPIs to ensure seamless integration between SAP and other systems. Develop custom reports, enhancements, and functionalities to meet specific business requirements. Create and optimize CDS Views (Core Data Services) for efficient data modeling and consumption on the HANA platform. Develop and optimize ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP) for high-performance database operations. Design and develop interactive and print forms using Adobe Forms. Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS) principles for scalable and maintainable ABAP code. Analyze and optimize existing ABAP code for HANA performance improvements. Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT). Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ABAP on HANA solutions. Qualifications: Mandatory Skills & Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
